In a horrific incident, a +2 minor girl student has allegedly been gang-raped at a hotel in Badambadi by two minor boys including her classmate.
Kataka: In a horrific incident, a +2 minor girl student has allegedly been gang-raped at a hotel in Badambadi of Odisha’s Kataka city by two minor boys including her classmate.
According to the allegation, the victim was called to the hotel on the pretext of talking, where two friends allegedly sexually assaulted her.
A case has been registered at the Badambadi police station in Kataka following the complaint lodged by the girl and her family members.
Two minor boys allegedly involved in the incident have been arrested by the police. One of the accused is reportedly the victim’s college classmate.
Sources said that they will be forwarded to the court after their Medical examination and completion of legal procedures.
Police, along with a scientific team, visited the crime spot and started a detailed investigation. The incident has once again sparked questions over the safety of women in the state.
