Balasore: In a tragic incident, one person has been killed in a road accident near Pitakalia bridge in Balasore district of Odisha.
According to reports, four people were returning in a car to Aghirapada village under Oupada block after attending a marriage function from Jajpur.
The car skid down the bridge when the driver was trying to save a bike rider. As a result, one person lost his life on the spot while the other three sustained critical injuries.
Later, the locals rescued and rushed them to a hospital in Balasore.
On being informed, the Soro police arrived at the spot. The bike rider has been reportedly detained by the police.
