1 kg gold and 2 kg silver ornaments looted from house in Odisha’s Balasore district

Soro: In a shocking incident dacoits reportedly looted gold ornaments weighing about 1 kg and silver ornaments weighing about 2 kg from a house in Balasore district of Odisha yesterday night. The loot took place in the Dahisada village in Soro area of the district.

The loot took place in the house of Gyanendra Upadhyay in Dahisada village.

As per reports, yesterday late at night as many as dacoits forcibly entered the house of Gyanenra Upadhyay. Then they tied the family members with the help of ropes by frightening the family members at gun point and brandishing sharp weapons. And then they looted gold and silver ornaments. According to the family members the loot took place in between 2 to 3 am yesterday night.

Later, the family members informed about the loot to Police and claimed that gold ornaments to the tune of about 1 kg and silver ornaments to the tune of about 2 kg were looted from the house.

Further investigation of the case is underway.
