Puri: There has been a massive fire in Puri, 30 rooms have been burnt to ashes said reliable reports in this regard on Tuesday. As many as 15 families have been affected due to the fire.
A bike kept in one of the houses was burnt to ashes along with the furniture. Three cattle were burnt alive in the fire, 15 families have become homeless. One person is reported to be in a critical condition.
According to the information available, there was a fire in the house of a man living in Alisha village late last night. Immediately the massive fire in Puri spread all around. On receiving the information, the fire brigade personnel reached the spot and doused the fire.
By that time however, the furniture of the house was burnt to ashes in the fire. It is not known how the fire started. It is not known if there was a short circuit or any other reason.
