Wreckage of IAF’s missing AN-32 aircraft found in Arunachal Pradesh after 8 days
Itanagar: The wreckage of the missing AN-32 of Indian Air Force (IAF) was spotted in Arunachal Pradesh after 8 days, IAF sources said.
The missing military transport aircraft was spotted near 16 KMs North of Lipo, North East of Tato at an approximate elevation of 12000 ft, IAF informed.

Efforts are now continuing to establish the status of occupants and establish survivors, IAF added.
The last contact with the aircraft — an Antonov An-32 military transport aircraft — was at around 1 PM last Monday after taking off from Jorhat airbase at 12:25 PM.
The aircraft was its way to Mechuka from Jorhat, carrying as many as 13 persons on board.
Massive search and rescue operation was launched by the army, navy and air force to locate the aircraft.
