Woman chokes 2-year-old twins to death in Hyderabad, then kills self
A 27-year-old woman allegedly choked her two-year-old twins to death and committed suicide in Hyderabad's Balanagar area
Hyderabad: A 27-year-old woman allegedly choked her two-year-old twins to death and kill self in Hyderabad’s Balanagar area.
The deceased identified as Challari Sailakshmi, a resident of Hyderabad. She was staying at an apartment along with her husband and twins.
As per CCTV footage, Sailakshmi jumped to her death from her fourth-floor apartment at around 3.30 am. On noticing the body, the neighbours immediately alerted the police and also found the twin babies bodies at the family’s home. On reaching the spot, the police started an investigation and recovered the bodies and shifted the bodies to the hospital for autopsy.
Police inspector said, that Sailakshmi and her husband Anil Kumar had frequent arguments and fought over their son’s speech issues, as he suffered from speech impairment, and the family had been taking him for speech therapy sessions. There was always disagreements between Sailakshmi and Anil Kumar over the child’s condition.
As per police, the altercation between the two pushed Sailakshmi to take such major step and also drove her to murder her twins and then killed her self.
Later, Sailakshmi parents have filed a police complaint against Anil Kumar and case has been registered. Anil Kumar has been taken into custody.
