Uttar Pradesh to witness uninterrupted Akhand Path on Rama Navami, says CM Yogi

Ahead of Shri Ramnavami, chief minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions for continuous recitation of Shri Ram Charit Manas in UP.

New Delhi: The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has instructed to organize Akhand Path of Ram Charit Manas on the upcoming Ram Navami across the State. He has instructed that continuous reading of Shri Ramcharit Manas to be done in temples of all districts in UP.

The CM said that the continuous recitation will begin from the afternoon of 5 April and completed on April 6, on the day of Shri Ram Navami. On this day, at 12 noon, Surya Tilak of Shri Ram Lalla will be done in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya.

People from all over country will reach Ayodhya to see the Surya Tilak of Shri Ram Lalla.

CM has also instructed to make necessary arrangements for the devotees.

• Mats made of jute are to be put at the place where the devotees would queue up.

• Adequate availability of drinking water

• Arrangement for canopies to be made.

• Uninterrupted 24-hour power supply to be available in the entire state.

• All the eggs, meat shops to remain close.

• No illegal slaughtering anywhere.

Above instructions was given by the CM at the review meeting with senior Officials on Saturday regarding preparations to Chaitra Navratri and Shri Ramnavami.

The Chaitra Navratri will begin from 30 March and the Ramanavami will be celebrated on April 6.
