Utkal Divas celebrated in Gujarat. Spread Happiness Foundation, a leading expatriate voluntary organization based in Pune, has taken another step forward in bringing smile in the face of children.
The organization visited “Visamo Kids” in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, to celebrate Utkal divas with unprivileged kids. Visamo kids Foundation has created a facility that can house 100+ kids with the mission to transform the lives of less privileged yet high-potential kids.
The event, chaired by Anand Kumar Mohapatra , General Secretary of Spread Happiness Foundation, focused on proper care of children during the pandemic and the necessary steps to protect the kids.
The Chief Guest Kashinath Mishra shared his experience about life and motivated the young minds to establish themselves as good human beings in the society. He inspired the kids by saying, “Try not to become a man of success—but rather a man of value”.
Local members of SHF namely Isha Mishra, Riya Chowdhury, Dr Angel Kanda, Madhujyotshna Tripathy, Somit Ranjan Das and Ashutosh Tripathy played pivotal role in carrying out various fun events with the kids. Dr Angel Kanda also guided the children about Oral health and hygiene.
Winding up the programme, Anand, on behalf of the organization, distributed “A bag of Happiness” to the children and staff of Visamo Kids.
Spread happiness foundation is looking forward to organize more such events in days to come.
