UPSC CSE Prelims 2021 exams today, Check details

Bhubaneswar: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) prelims 2021 is scheduled today. It is considered to be one of the most awaited exams for IAS aspirants. More details are also available on upsc.gov.in.  The prelims exam would be held in two shifts from 9.30 am to 11.30 pm and 2.30 to 4.30 pm.

The UPSC prelims 2021 is being conducted in Cuttack and Sambalpur examination centres in Odisha.

Due to the second wave of the pandemic, the exams got delayed. The CSE exams will be held at various exam centres following Covid-19 safety protocols.

Here are the details of the examination guidelines. 

  • CSE Preliminary exam has made it mandatory for candidates to carry their admit card along with a valid Id proof. These documents will be checked at the entry gate of the exam centre.
  • Candidates must reach their exam centres about an hour prior to the commencement of the exam.
  • Candidates must ensure that they fill the details on OMR sheet carefully. Any discrepancy in that might lead to disqualification from the exam.
  • While marking their responses in UPSC Prelims 2021, candidates must use a black ballpoint pen only.
  • It is mandatory for candidates to wear a face mask when they go for CSE Preliminary exam. They may even carry a small sanitiser bottle.
  • Candidates appearing for the exam with the help of a scribe must ensure that the scribe has a separate e-admit card issued to them. If not, they will not be allowed.

CSE Preliminary exam will be followed by the Mains exam in January, 2022.
