Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan Visits Delhi Hospital To Review The Covid Vaccination Dry Run

Delhi: Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan visited Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital for the assessment of Covid vaccination dry run drill which begins today in Delhi.

A dry run for the corona vaccination will be conducted today by the administrations of all states and union territory in order to test the connection and identify the challenges between planning and implementation prior to actual implementation of the vaccination drive.

“Feedbacks received after the dry run in four states were included in guidelines for vaccination and today’s dry run in all states/UTs is being conducted as per new guidelines. Except for giving the actual vaccine, every procedure is being followed during the drill.” said the union health minister.

He said that the government’s top priority is to ensure safety and effectiveness if the Covid Vaccine.

In order to ensure a flawless coronavirus vaccination drive, all the states and union territories of India have organised a dry run today. Each state and union territory has been asked to conduct the dry run at minimum three sessions in each capital.
