UGC-NET Exam 2021: NTA revises exam dates for December 2020 and June 2021

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the revised the exam dates of UGC-NET for December 2020 and June 2021. NTA has merged both UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 cycles in the new exam schedule.

The official notice for the new exam dates is available on the official website of NTA that is nta.ac.in.

As per the new exam schedule, the UGC NET will be conducted from October 6 to 8 and October 17 to 19.

The agency said that the exam dates have been changed due to a clash between some major exams that also have been scheduled for that day that is October 10.

The official notice reads, “NTA has come to know from the student community that the October 10 examination date is clashing with some major examinations that also have been scheduled for that day. With a view to ensure larger participation of candidates and to remove the hardship caused to them, it has been decided to reschedule some of the dates of the UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles.”

Previously, the exam dates of UGC NET Exam 2021 for December 2020 and July 2021 was set to start from October 6 to October 11, 2021. Now, the schedule has been changed to October 6 to October 8, 2021, and October 17 to 19, 2021.

The application process for UGC NET Exam started from August 10 and will continue till September 5, 11:50 pm. The applicants can submit the application fee on or before September 6, 11:50 pm.

The applicants can apply for the examination online on the website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in or nta.ac.in.
