Two trains arrive on the same track in Bilaspur, accident averted

Bilaspur: After witnessing the worst train accident, a similar train tragedy was averted in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur, when a goods and a passenger train came on the same track.

The incident happened under the South East Central Railway’s Bilaspur zone when a Memu local coming to Korba survived the accident.

The collision was avoided as the two trains stopped at a distance from each other.

The local passenger (MEMU) train and goods train had come on a similar track between Jairamnagar in Bilaspur region and Kotmisnar in Janjgir-Champa district on Saturday.

The technical and human mistakes were rectified in time, and both trains were stopped.
