Srinagar: Two terrorists have been killed in an encounter at Khanmoh area of Srinagar on Monday. The operation between the security forces and terrorists had started early in the morning.
The joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) launched the operation on the basis on a reliable information about the presence of the terrorists in the area. They appealed the terrorists to surrender but on failure the encounter broke out.
As many as two terrorists have been killed in the encounter. Both the deceased terrorists were in Al-Badr terror outfit, informed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar.
The joint team have cordoned off the area and the search operation is underway.
