Two girls claim with same roll number and name in UPSC exam in Madhya Pradesh

Two girls from Madhya Pradesh with the same name and same roll number have claimed that they have cracked the exam

A day after UPSC released its results for the civil services exam, two girls from Madhya Pradesh with the same name and same roll number have claimed that they have cracked the exam. Both of allegedly scored 184th rank.

As soon as the result came out, two families started celebrations. One woman named Ayesha Fatima, daughter of Nazeeruddin, a resident of Dewas. The other woman Ayesha Makrani is from Alirajpur, daughter of Saleemuddin.

Both the girls have the same roll number, 7811744 and have achieved the 184th rank in the final list published by the UPSC.

As per media reports, the date of interview for both the girls is the same, which is 25 April 2023. Dewas’ Ayesha’s admit card has UPSC watermark and QR code whereas Alirajpur’s Ayesha’s card doesn’t have a watermark nor QR code.

The reality will come to fore only after a thorough probe. While the matter is yet to come out, both the families are rejoicing the success.
