Trapped leopard suddenly gets up while Forest officials trying to load it to cage, know what happens next
Bijnor: Three forest department officials had a near death experience after they were attacked by a sedated leopard as it woke up while it was being put into a cage. Thankfully, they only sustained minor injuries. According to reports, the incident happened in a forest near Dharmanagri of Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh.
The visuals shared by NDTV shows the big cat being transported from what appears to be a sugarcane field after it was trapped. The officials seems to have trapped the leopard with a big net then it was sedated. Three forest officials were carrying the leopard to a cage kept in a truck.

Two officials were holding the leopard’s paws, while the third officer was seen holding the big cat near its head. They put the big cat down on the truck as they approached the cage.
However, the unthinkable happened and the big cat woke up suddenly, leaving the officers in panic.
After the leopard woke up, it attacked the group of forest department workers. However, the officials did let it escape and managed to trap the leopard again and put it into the cage.
The big cat despite being weakened, managed to injure three forest department officials. The Three workers are being treated, officials said.
