Top JeM Terrorist From Pakistan Killed In Pulwama
Srinagar: A notorious Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) militant was killed in an encounter with security forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.
The slain militant, identified as Adnan, was of Pakistani origin. He was one of the top commanders of banned terror outfit JeM in the Kashmir Valley.
The security forces have recovered huge quantity of arms, ammunition and incriminating material from the site of the encounter. The encounter took place after a massive Cordon and Search Operation in Dar Ganie Gund village of Aribal area of Tral in south Kashmir district on Sunday morning. The army had received credible inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
During the encounter, a security force jawaan sutained grievous injuries and was rushed to the hospital. A civilian identified as Manzoor Dar also sustained injuries. He was admitted to a local hospital and his condition is stable now.
