Three LeT Terrorists killed in J&K encounter
Srinagar:
The three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists were killed in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district on May 26.
Instpector Vijay Kumar, IGP (Inspector General of Police) confirmed that the encounter took place in the Jumagund village. The police also recovered materials from arms and ammunitions from the encounter site.
In a tweet, the Kashmir Zone Police mentioned, “All three terrorists killed, affiliated with proscribed terror outfit LeT. Identification being ascertained. Incriminating materials including arms and ammunition recovered.”

The encounter began on early Thursday morning after the Kupwara police received inputs about the infiltration attempts of terrorists in Jumagund village.
