They have made a big mistake, will pay heavy price: PM to terrorists

New Delhi: In a strong message to Pakistan backed terrorists active in Jammu and Kashmir today, PM Narendra Modi today said those who are involved in the Pulwama attack have made a big mistake and will pay a heavy price for it.

In his address at the launch of the semi-high speed train Vande Bharat Express minutes after chairing a meeting of Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) on the issue Modi offered his condolences to the families of the slain CRPF jawans. He assured that the perpetrators of the attack will be brought to justice.

Pitching for a free hand to the Indian Military the PM said the jawans have been given a free hand to deal with the situation after the incident.

“Anger is seething in the nation, people’s blood is boiling and I understand it. Our security forces have been given full freedom. We have full faith in their bravery,” he said.

The CCS meeting was attended by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Force among other top officials.
