Telangana: 4 people dead in Road Accident at Suryapet

Suryapet: Four people lost their lives and four more were injured in a road accident at Suryapet district in Telangana. The accident took place on Friday morning near MITS Engineering College when a Truck hit an auto.

The four injured victims were immediately taken to the nearby government hospital with the help of the locals present at the accident spot.

“In the accident, four people died on the spot while four others who were injured were taken to the nearby hospital. Out of the four injured, two are in a critical condition and two are out of danger. It looks like the accident took place because of the negligence driving of the lorry driver,” Sudharshan Reddy, DSP, Kodak, Suryapet, said.

All the deceased were identified as the residents of Chintapalli Village in Mahaboobabad district in Telangana. They were all returning to their village after visiting a dargah in Jampahad.

The Police has begun investigating the matter further, as reported by ANI.
