Assam: A strong earthquake of 3.7 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Sonitpur in Assam at 6:13PM on Monday, according to the National Center for Sesimology.
According to reports, the earthquake hit Assam with EQ Parameters of magnitude 3.7 on the Richter scale with its center located at Latitude 26.74 N and Longitude 92.36 E with a focal depth of 10 km in Sonitpur.

However, no damage or casualty has been reported so far.
Earlier on April 28, the earthquake had hit Assam with 6.4 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Assam on Wednesday morning, as per the National Center for Seismology.
