New Delhi: In a major success to the police, a habitual offender was caught on Delhi metro along with gold and cash worth Rs. 3 lakh said sources on Monday.
According to reports, a passenger reported theft of gold biscuits from his bag while traveling between Bahadurgarh and Shadipur station by the Metro. The accused caught in the case has been identified as Dabri he is a habitual offender.
During interrogation, he confessed his crime and revealed that the stolen gold had been sold, however later the gold and cash was recovered by the police from the metro.
Cash worth as much as Rs. 3 lakh was found by the police. Further detailed reports waited in this regard.
