Srinagar: A police woman was shot dead by unidentified men outside her residence in South Kashmir’s Shopian on Saturday.
The Special Police Officer (SPO) has been identified as Khusboo Jan. As per reports, she was fired at from a very close range outside her residence in Vehil village of Shopian district. Jan breathed her last on way to the hospital.
Notably, this is fourth such attack to have taken place in Kashmir in the last three days where masked gunmen have attacked police personnel, former soldiers, political activists and civilians in the state.
