Skeleton found in West Bengal suspected to be of missing Sikkim Teacher, Probe underway

West Bengal: In a shocking incident, the Sikkim Police found skeletal remains inside a locked house in Siliguri, West Bengal on Friday. Police believe the remains could of a Sikkim teacher, identified as Pasang Doma Sherpa, who had been missing for the past seven months.
Pasang Doma Sherpa was reported missing earlier this year. During the investigation, police found that she had also been staying in the same house in Siliguri where the skeleton was found.
Acting on this new information, the police broke open the locked door and discovered the remains inside.
The skeleton has now been sent for post-mortem examination and DNA testing to confirm her identity and find out how she died.
According to the sources, a man was also staying with her in the same house. Police are trying to trace him and find out his involvement in the incident.
Additionally, police officials have started a detailed investigation into the matter.
