Mumbai: Police have revealed a shocking information about the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case. The intruder wanted to steal Rs 30,000 to get a fake Aadhaar card and PAN card informed Mumbai Police in its chargesheet to the the court.

According to sources, the chargesheet mentioned that Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad told police that he came to India from Bangladesh with the motive of getting Indian passport. He stated that he wanted the Indian passport as it is easier for Indian national to get work visas in foreign countries.

He wanted to make a fake Aadhaar and PAN card in order to apply for a passport then he would have applied for work visas to other countries as an Indian citizen. The accused said that he is from Jhalokathi district in Bangladesh and illegally entered India eight months ago.

He worked at a hotel in Mumbai and took a day off on January 15. On January 16, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed He said that he planned a small theft that would help him get his the money for the documents.
