New-Delhi: External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is on a three-day visit to Tajikistan, will attend the 9th ministerial conference of Heart Of Asia Istanbul Process ( HoA-IP) on Afghanistan in Dushanbe on Tuesday.

The Heart of Asia ministerial conference is part of the Istanbul Process – a regional initiative on security and cooperation for a stable and peaceful Afghanistan – that was launched on November 2, 2011 in Turkey.
The conference being held at Tajikistan, is strengthening the regional and international censuses for Afghan peace.
Jaishankar who will attend the conference with joint invitation from Afghanistan and Tajikistan, in which he will be meeting leaders from other countries who will be attending the conference as statement released by External affairs ministry.
He also shared his meet with the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani before the commencement of the conference.
