Raksha Bandhan: Gold rakhis with PM Modi’s photo lure sisters in Gujarat

Surat: A jewellery shop in Gujarat’s Surat is selling rakhis with pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani encased in gold on them.

Speaking about the reason behind making the special rachis, the jewellery shop owner Milan said, “People especially every women and girls here long to get brother like them that is why we have designed and made the rachis. Besides, the leaders have done very good work for our country and they inspire millions across the world.”

The rakhis made of 22 carat gold, have been priced between Rs 30,000 to Rs 60,000.

The jeweller said 47 such rakhis have been sold out and orders are still pouring in.
