Punjab’s Jalandhar Residents Wake Up To A Mesmerizing View Of Dhauladhar Mountains: Read How

Bhubaneswar: Residents of Jalandhar city woke up to a rare view of Dhauladhar mountain range on Friday morning. Due to week long countrywide lock down, the pollution levels of the city dropped low and a stunning picture of the mountains could be seen.

Some of the residents even claimed that similar incident happened before many decades.

People of Jalandhar city were overjoyed with the scenic mountainous view on Friday morning and took to social media to express their view.

Pictures of the Dhauladhar Mountains were circulated on social media. Even government officials expressed their joy on social media.

Co-incidentally, former Indian Cricketer Harbhajan Singh also shared some pictures on social media expressing his happiness.

Dhauladhar mountain range is a part of Himalayan chain of mountains. Dharamsala is the headquarters of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh and lies south of Dhauladhar Mountain.

According to the environmental experts, countrywide lockdown has shut down many industries functioning in the area. Road Traffic has also significantly reduced because of shutdown.

Hence, the air quality of the region has improved. This has resulted in the visibility of Dhauladhar Mountains, which is around 200 km far from Dharamsala.
