Maharashtra: In a shocking incident, a 28-year-old woman has filed a complaint against her lover, accusing him of secretly giving her abortion pill mixed in a sweet dish in Pune.
According to the reports, the woman said that the man lured her into a relationship by falsely promising marriage. They were physically involved multiple times.
When she got pregnant, the man allegedly tricked her into eating the sweet dish without telling her it contained an abortion pill.
Further, the woman claimed that she had no idea about the pill and suffered a miscarriage. After realizing, she confronted him about the incident. He then refused to marry her, which left her deeply distressed.
As of now, police confirmed that the man is currently is police custody and further investigation is underway.
