New Delhi: Making its intensions clear after Pulwama terror attack by Pakistan, Indian Air Force (IAF) today raided Balakot area in Pak Occupied Kashmir (PoK) and destroyed a number of training camps operated by Jaish-e-Mohammed.

As per a leading news agency which cited reports from IAF, at least 12 Mirage 2000 jets took part in the attack which carried out at around 3.30 am in the night. Around 1000 kg bombs were dropped on the camps across Line of Control (LoC), it added.

The strikes came roughly after 13 days of Pulwama attack by a suicide bomber of JeM who dashed an IED loaded SUV to a CRPF van killing over 40 jawans.

While it is being suspected that around 200-300 casualties have been caused in Balakot due to the India airstrike, the report is yet to be officially confirmed.
