New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted citizens of country on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr on Friday.
The President tweeted: “Eid Mubarak to all fellow citizens! This festival is an occasion to strengthen the spirit of fraternity & rededicate ourselves to the service of humanity. Let us resolve to deal with Covid-19 by following the guidelines and to work for the well-being of the society & the country.”
The Prime Minister wished for the everybody’s good health and well being on Eid-ul-Fitr on his twitter handle.
“Powered by our collective efforts, may we overcome the global pandemic and work towards furthering human welfare. Eid Mubarak !”, he further added.
Eid is being celebrated in most part of the country on Friday in a low-key manner, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
