Police arrests 50-year-old man for sexually assaulting two sisters by luring them in name of Prasad

Police has arrested a 50-year-old man under the allegations of sexually assaulting two minor girls by luring them in name of prasad.

New Delhi: Bikaner police on Saturday, arrested a 50-year-old man for sexually assaulting two sisters, aged 7 and 9. A police complaint was filed against the man on Thursday in Srudungargarh area of Bikaner for allegedly sexually assaulting two minor girls.

After the arrest, police discovered that accused had a violent history and was in jail for 20 years for murdering a family of five during robbery attempt in 1993.

The man has been identified as Shribhagwan, he was released from prison in 2013 after completing his sentence for robbery and murder case. As per the statements given by the police, the girls had come to visit a temple which was located on an agricultural farm owned by the accused. He lured the girls into a nearby hut and allegedly assaulted them.

According to the police investigation, the culprit had built a house and a temple on government land on Adsasar-Surjansar Road. As per the statement given by the police, he also performed tantric rituals. Police also revealed that, the accused threatened the girls, warning them not to reveal the incident. But, the girls confided to their family.

In another shocking incident, a body of 9-year-old minor girl’s body was found in a suitcase. The incident reportedly took place in Delhi. Investigation revealed that the minor might have been sexually assaulted before dying. Police investigation is underway.
