PM Modi to Celebrate his 68th Birthday in Varanasi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will celebrate his 68th birthday today with school children in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi.

After reaching Varanasi this afternoon, the Prime Minister will visit Naruar village of Rohaniya area where he will interact with children of a primary school, aided by non-profit organisation “Room to Read” and will inaugurate a library there.

Later, Modi will interact with students of Kashi Vidyapeeth and children assisted by them, on the premises of Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW).

The Prime Minister will spend the evening by watching a 32-minute film called “Chalo Jeete Hain” with schoolchildren.

On Tuesday, the Prime Minister will lay foundation stones for a number of development projects including Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) for Puraani Kashi and an Atal Incubation Centre at the Banaras Hindu University amphitheatre.

To mark Prime Minister’s birthday, medical camps will be setup at 68 locations across the district and 68 major spots will be illuminated with lamps. Special prayer services will also be held in 68 temples in the district for the well-being of the Prime Minister, sources said.
