Plane Carrying Remdesivir Crash-Lands At Gwalior In Madhya Pradesh,3 Injured

Bhopal: A Madhya Pradesh government plane that was carrying a stock of Remdesivir injections crash landed at Maharajpur airport in Gwalior on Thursday night.

The incident occurred at around 8.50 pm. Due to a technical problem the plane skidded off the runway during its landing, informed Gwalior Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Hitika Vasal.

As many as three people including captain Majid Akhtar and co-pilot Shivshankar Jaiswal sustained injuries, further added ASP Vasal.

They were admitted to the Jaya Arogya Hospital for immediate medical check-up. Reportedly, all of them are out of danger.

Meanwhile, The consignment of Remdesivir the plane was carrying was safe. The MP government deployed its aircraft for transportation of Remdesivir due to a shortage of the medicine in the state.
