Pfizer suspends sale and use of some products in India

The products whose sale and use was voluntarily stopped in India are Magnex, Magnamycin and Zosyn

New Delhi: Pfizer has reportedly suspended the sale and use of some of its popular products in India. The move came after some technical issues. The matter is being investigated by the manufacturer.

As per reports, the products whose sale and use was voluntarily stopped in India are Magnex, Magnamycin and Zosyn.

Pfizer in a statement said that out of an abundance of caution and following a request by the local contract manufacturer, a voluntary stop was placed on further sale and use of its products Magnex, magnamycin and Zosyn.

Out of an abundance of caution and following a request by our local contract manufacturer, Pfizer has currently placed a voluntary stop on further sale and use of its products Magnex, Magnamycin and Zosyn in India as a result of certain technical issues brought to our attention by the contract manufacturing site in India. The matter is being investigated by the manufacturer and Pfizer will take any further actions if so required: Pfizer, ANI wrote in a tweet on Thursday.
