Parts Of Delhi Witness Spells Of Rain, Hailstorm
New-Delhi: Parts of Delhi witnessed a change weather and received rainfall on Friday morning. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted a thunderstorm with hailstorm for the national capital.
In a tweet, the IMD said that isolated thunderstorm/ lightning/ gusty winds with precipitation are very likely over parts of Delhi and adjoining areas over the next few hours.
“Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain would occur over entire Delhi and over and adjoining areas of Kaithal, Meham, Rohtak, Gannaur, Gohana, Sonipat, Kharkhoda, Panipat, Karnal,Kurukshetra, Rajound, Assand, Safidon, Hansi, Hissar, Jind, Siwani, Tosham, Charki-dadri, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Sohna, Palwal, Aurangabad, Manesar, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ballabgarh, (Haryana), Noida, Greater-Noida, Ghaziabad, Modinagar, Hapur, Pilakhua, Meerut, Pahasu, Narora, Khataoli, Baraut, Baghpath, Shikarpur, Gurmukhteshwar, Siyana, Bulandshahar, Jahangirabad, Khurja, Loni-dehat, Shamli, Khekra, Aligarh, Amroha, Dadri, Indirapuram, Gulaothi, Jattari, Khair (U.P) during next 2 hours”, the IMD informed via tweet.
“Light intensity rain would occur over few places of entire Delhi and over and adjoining areas of Gannaur, Sonipat, Kharkhoda, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Narnaul, Charki-Dadri, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Gurugram, Nuh, Yamunanagar (Haryana), Saharanpur,Modinagar, Meerut, Mathura, Narora, Khataoli, Baraut, Baghpath, Chandpur, Deoband, Muzaffarnagar, Gurmukhteshwar, Jattari, Iglas, Hathras, Gangoh, Shamli, Aligarh, Atrauli, Amroha, Daurala, Hastinapur, Moradabad (U.P), Kotputli (Rajasthan) and Roorkee (U.K) during next 2 hours”, the weather department said.
