Pahalgam Terror attack: Terrorist’s house demolished in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir
In the wake of Pahalgam Terror Attack security forces have demolished a house of an active terrorist in Shopian district of J&K.
New Delhi: In a continued crackdown following the Pahalgam terror attack, security forces of Jammu and Kashmir authorities have demolished the house of an active terrorist, in Wandina village, Zainapora area of Shopian district in Jammu and Kashmir. He was targeted as part of the efforts to curb terrorism in the region.
The man has been identified as Adnan Shafi, an active terrorist. According to the sources he joined the terrorist group a year ago.
According to the officials, the house in Wadina village in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir was allegedly linked to an active terrorist believed to be involved in the April 22 attack. The house was reportedly demolished by the Indian army.
The demolition went smoothly under tight security, with local police and other forces ensuring the operation went smoothly. Authorities stated that such actions are meant to send a strong message to those involved in terrorist activities.
The house, located in a residential area was completely destroyed by the security forces.
According to information, the houses of Ehsaan Shaikh, Shahid and Zakir were bombed in Murran village yesterday. Authorities demolished the house of Zakir Ahmad Ganie, at Mutalhama village in Kulgam district. As of now the houses of 6 terrorists were demolished by Indian Army.
