According to sources, there shall be an uniform system in the entire country. Under this scheme all the employees and laborers of all classes in every sector will get salary on one day. 
PM Modi is looking forward to implement this system. The law in this regard needs to be ready and passed by Parliament he said.

Labor Minister Santosh Gangwar has given information about ‘One Nation, One Pay Day’ system.
Post the implementation of ‘One Nation, One Pay Day’, all employees of the organized sector will get salary on the same day. As of now, there is no fixed system for getting salary.
At present the system is haphazard. Companies or organizations give salary to their employees on any day of the month according to their own convenience. Most of the employees get their salary anytime between 7th to 15th of the month.
The government is also working towards implementing the Uniform Minimum Wage Program and preparing to implement occupational safety, health and working condition code (OSH)
