Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the first phase election in the state, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is all set to start poll campaign from Nayagarh today.
CM Naveen will be addressing a public gathering at Nayagarh stadium today. As per reports, he will reach the venue at around 11 am in the morning. More than 50,000 people from the Charigoti Assembly seat in Nayagarh district will reportedly attend the mega-gathering.
Noteworthy, this will be CM Naveen’s first public address after the enforcement of the model code of conduct by ECI. The BJD has declared the candidate names for the constituencies, which will go for polling in the first and second phases.
After filing-in their nominations, the BJD candidates are all set to start the campaign for the mega political battle.
