Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik released commemorative postage stamp on Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup at the State Secretariat here on Wednesday.
The stamps aim at commemorating the 14th edition of the World Cup in the state, which will kick start this evening . Belgium will lock horn with Canada while India will face South Africa in the first day of the mega global event.
“I would like to thank the Postal Department for producing this beautiful stamp at the time of the Hockey World Cup,” the Chief Minister said.
Yesterday, the Chief Minister declared the Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018 open at iconic Kalinga stadium here in a glittering ceremony amidst fireworks and lighting.
