Odisha CM launches ‘MadhuApp’ for school students

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday launched ‘MadhuApp’ , an e-learning android mobile phone application, for school students in Odisha.

The app named after ‘Utkal Gourab’ Madhusudan Das is developed by Ganjam district administration in accordance with the 5T initiative of the Odisha Government.

Unveiling the app at Lok Seva Bhawan here, the Chief Minister interacted with students from 22 blocks in Ganjam district through video conferencing. He advised the students to focus on their studies and make the country proud.

The new App aimed at helping school students in learning their lessons taught in school classrooms through videos and practicing them. It provides video lectures and exercises in Odia language by highly qualified educationists and expert teachers.

In the first phase, videos and exercises have been created for Mathematics and Science subjects of classes V to VIII.

School and Mass Education minister Samir Ranjan Dash, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan Chairman, Chief Secretary, Development Commissioner, Advisor to Chief Minister, Secretary of School and Mass Education and Ganjam district collector were present on the occasion.
