In a shocking incident, Odisha bound Nandan Kanan Express split into two and this incident caused panic among passengers, said reports on Tuesday. The incident took place in the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction in Uttar Pradesh.
According to reports, an express train suddenly split into two parts (decoupled) shortly after its departure. The incident led to major panic among passengers onboard Nandan Kanan Express.
According to reports, the train was en route from Anand Vihar in Delhi to Puri in Odisha when the coupling of the sleeper coach (S4) of the train broke down. There was major chaos inside the bogie and passengers panicked.
Following the incident, railway authorities immediately repaired the snag and the train services were restarted.
