Now, BEd not required to become govt teachers in these subjects, check details

The job of a teacher is always considered as one of the noblest professions in the society. Lakhs of people want to become teachers in their life. They are not leaving any stones unturned to fulfill their dream. Most of them apply after coming across the teachers’ recruitment advertisement.

There are certain educational qualifications which the candidates should have to be part of the recruitment drive and become teachers. One of the educational qualifications is that the applicants should have a BEd degree to apply for the teachers’ job.

However, the Uttar Pradesh government has made a major announcement that would immensely help the candidates who want to become a teacher even if they do not have the BEd degree.

According to the announcement of the Uttar Pradesh government, now, the BEd degree is not mandatory for the recruitment of contractual teachers of Grammar and Literature at the Uttar Madhyamik level in aided Sanskrit secondary schools.

Notably, the Uttar Pradesh government has issued a notification for the recruitment of 1,110 contractual teachers in 567 Sanskrit secondary schools. It had made a BEd degree mandatory for the appointment of Grammar and Literature teachers.

However, the Additional Education Director, Secondary Education Department, Dr Mahendra Dev changed the decision saying that BEd degree is not mandatory to become contractual teachers of Grammar and Literature.

The Additional Education Director later changed the decision following the orders of the Allahabad High Court.
