NH-9 connecting Noida, Delhi, Ghaziabad to remain closed for over 20 days, check details

New-Delhi: The Ghaziabad police informed that the National Highway 9 (NH 9) will be closed for 22 days due to repairs to the Ganga water pipeline.

The highway will remain closed between October 20 till November 10.

The repair work would be carried out by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) between the Tigri cut underpass and Rahul Vihar underpass.

The vehicles can move from Tigri roundabout to Noida and Ghaziabad and vice versa.

The Ghaziabad Police has also issued a traffic advisory.

The pipelines bring Ganga water from the Upper Ganga Canal near Dasna and the water is taken to the Pratap Vihar treatment plants from where it is supplied to Ghaziabad and Noida with the help of pipelines.
