Navjot Singh Sidhu, who used to appear as the judge of the popular TV show by Kapil Sharma, has finally been thrown out of the show over his controversial comment on the Pulwama terrorist attack.

Post the Pulwama attack, Sidhu had said, “For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual? It (the attack) is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished”.

At a time when the whole country is sad about the death of the martyrs, it was hard for the people to accept such a comment. Accordingly, netizens came up to protest and demanded the channel to boycott Sidhu from the show. The #BoycottKapilSharmaShow trended on Twitter yesterday.

This made the channel to take a bold step against Sidhu and he was asked to leave the show. It has been learned that Archana Puran Singh will replace his position in the show.

As per reports, the channel, as well as the show, was getting dragged into the unwanted controversy due to controversial comments of Sidhu.
