Mystery well in Gujarat baffles villagers again

Gujarat: A farm well in the Morbi district of Gujarat has once again come in the spotlight for its water moving on its own as experts delve into the unprecedented occurrence.
The 18 ft-deep well was dug approximately three months back on the farm of farmer Pranjivan Sadariya and first demonstrated the uncanny trait on the August 2.
The movement stopped for a short while before continuing once more, leading local authorities to inquire into the anomaly.
District officials have however stated that they do not foresee it being any cause for immediate alarm or being connected with any seismic activity, as none has been reported in the area.
Authorities hope the current movement of land could be a result of groundwater recharge, underground air or pressure triggered by the recent heavy downpour.
But there is need of more comprehensive scientific studies are required before coming to any definite conclusion.
A team of experts was requested to inspect the ground to assess the situation for real reason.
