Mysterious lights in sky leave many people puzzled in this Indian city; Watch viral video
The local people in various northern states of India were left puzzled by the sighting of strange mysterious lights in the sky during the evening hours. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media platforms. This has generated a huge debate on the origin of the lights among social media users.
The videos shared by the local people shows the mysterious lights gliding in a straight line in the sky. According to reports, the mysterious lights were spotted in Punjab’s Pathankot for five minutes at around 6.50 pm on Friday.
Various media reports have also suggested that these mysterious lights were in-fact Elon Musk-led ‘Starlink’ satellites. News agency ANI reported that the Defence sources in the government has confirmed that it was indeed a satellite.

This is not the first time, such an incident was witnessed. Earlier in June this year, mysterious rows of bright blinking lights gliding across the sky were spotted in Gujarat’s Junagadh and the surrounding region.
At that time, people speculated that those are Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs).
However, Narottam Sahoo, Advisor at Gujarat Council of Science and Technology (GUJCOST) denied the theory of the unnatural light sighting being UFOs.
Mr Sahoo has said that these lights could be some satellite passing through the low earth orbit.
Mr Sahoo also added that the exact same sightings were reported from multiple places in United States when Elon Musk’s SpaceX had launched the Falcon rocket was launched.
