Mumbai Police arrested 2 while carrying body in suitcase on a train after committing murder

Mumbai: In a shocking incident, Mumbai Police on Tuesday arrested 2 men while they were carrying a body in a suitcase on a train after committing murder. ANI reported this matter in an X post today.

The accused persons have been identified as Jai Praveen Chavda and Shivjeet Surendra Singh.

As per reports, two persons were carrying a body in a suitcase on a train after committing murder. The RPF and GRP were conducting a luggage-checking operation when they found the body inside a suitcase.

On interrogation, it was found that the murder took place in the area of Pydhonie Police Station.

Reportedly, a case of murder has been registered and one of the accused arrested, the other escaped from the spot but after some time the second accused was arrested from Ulhasnagar, said Pydhonie Police.

As per the latest reports, both the accused persons who were carrying the body in a suitcase on a train at Dadar Railway Station after committing the murder have been sent to Police custody till 12th August.
