Hyderabad: At least 20 persons sustained injury after an MMTS train crashed into the Kurnool intercity express train near Kacheguda railway station here on Monday morning.
The injured persons including the loco pilot of the Intercity express were rushed to to Kacheguda Hospital immediately.
According to reports, the express train coming from Kurnool to Secunderabad was waiting to enter the station when the MMTS train coming in the same direction, crashed into it from the rear.
With the impact of the collision, three bogies of the MMTS train derailed and around 20 passengers were injured in the accident.
