Massive fire breaks out in Delhi’s Paschim Puri, 250 shanties gutted

New Delhi: A major fire broke out in Delhi’s Paschim Puri area late last night . At least 250 shanties have reportedly been gutted in this fire. No causalities have been reported till the news was filed.

Hundreds of people living in these shanties have been affected by this fire.

According to reports, the fire department was alerted at around 1 AM. More than 25 fire tenders immediately rushed to the spot. The fire is under control now. The cooling operations are underway.

Yesterday, another fire broke out in a five-storey hotel in central Delhi’s Karol Bagh, killing at least 17 people.
