Massive fire breaks out at MTNL building in Mumbai

Mumbai: A massive fire broke out inside the Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) building at Bandra here on Monday afternoon.

At least 14 fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the level-four fire, News agency ANI reported.

It is suspected that the fire broke out due to a short-circuit and spread from the third floor of the building to the other floors.

According to reports, around 100 people are feared trapped on the terrace of the building where a level-four fire spread around 3:15 PM.

No injuries or casualties were reported in the incident, when the news was filed.
